Art Paris invites Perrotin Kids for a series of exclusive children’s workshops at the Grand Palais.
Perrotin Kids will be organising an exclusive series of workshops for children aged 4 to 12. Designed around the participating galleries’ exhibits and the artists taking part in the fair, these workshops will allow children to try their hand at working in different mediums accompanied by a team of specialised art mediators.
The children will be able to take their creations home with them making for a perfect souvenir of their day. These workshops organised by Art Paris & Perrotin Kids are free and open to all young visitors to the fair, subject to availability. They are the ideal opportunity for children to share a unique and enjoyable moment in a special space within the fair designed with them in mind. This event marks the first step in a partnership between Art Paris and Perrotin that will grow in importance in the following editions of the fair when it returns to the Grand Palais in April 2025.
Since 2015, Perrotin has been organising increasingly successful kids workshops in its Paris, New York,Tokyo and Shanghai galleries. For several years, Perrotin Kids has been offering special tours of its exhibitions designed with children in mind followed by hands-on workshops. These activities are devised and run by Perrotin’s team of art mediators and art education professionals. They help children to analyse the works of art and address the artist’s chosen themes. The young participants not only get to know different art forms and genres, but also try making art themselves in the best conditions, sometimes in the presence of the artists. Driven by the ambition to make art accessible to everybody from the youngest age, Perrotin Kids has been extremely popular right from the start, both with young art enthusiasts, their parents and teachers.
